I Find It Amusing
Hey folks, I’d like to introduce you all to an experimental segment that I’d like to call “I Find It Amusing.” What “I Find It Amusing” is is just regular old Andy complaining about this, that or the other (wow, I just realized that “or the” is “other”) but in the “Yeah, it’s funny in that not so funny way because it’s really more annoying or just a nearly interesting observation, but if I’m lucky it’ll give people a meager chuckle” type of way. In these complaints I figure I’ll tackle one issue at a time and in very short, often one sentence descriptions and/or musings. So let’s try it out.
I find it amusing that I can’t watch an old movie containing the New York skyline without someone sighing and saying “oh, there’s the twin towers,” as though they were explaining to a child who was born post-9/11 that these were what the towers looked like.
How was that? Feedback? Does it work, does it not? Anyways, a couple notices before I get off of this thing. First, I’ll be taking a CPR class tomorrow at 10 a.m. (no, it’s not for a chance to meet ladies). Also, after work tomorrow I’ll be leaving to go camping with my parents. Work is at 6:30, I’ll likely be off at 10:30 or 11. I’ll be returning Saturday morning as I may have work (but probably won’t) that evening. And in lieu of my absence on Friday, the 4th. Go America. Happy Birthday. 232 years young. How does it feel? Alright. I’m done.
